Short Update for the New Layout in Renise's Blog

Weeheee~~~ Just grabbed a lil time to give my blog a new look. There was a few things I thought of doing for my blog, let's see...

1. Arrangement of content and widgets -- Checked ✔
2. New banner -- Checked ✔
3. Edit the blog layout -- Checked ✔

I've done all this three for my blog! Any comments?

Weeeeee~ Exam's ended, semester break has started. Besides catching dramas, I have a lil time to beautify my blog again~ LOL~

Here's the new blog banner which I have done in the afternoon. Just a lil simple editing of the banner, original size of the image was 550px width, after resized, it became 1000px width. Then, textured it a lil, used brush and stamp on my name. It's done~ :]



Hmmmm... Any opinions or comments about the new banner? Please leave your words about the banner in this post ya~ Thanks :]

After I have put up the banner to my blog, I continued with the drama. :] I have done a Korean drama series "Queen Of Housewives" (贤内助女王), and a Hong Kong drama series "D.I.E. Again" (古靈精探B). :]





I'm catching "You're Hired"(絕代商驕) now, and it's gonna done soon. xD



Hehe~ After my drama session, I went to play badminton with my childhood friend at 4:30pm. It has been ages since the last time I hold a badminton racket. xD Seriously, my badminton skill is really lousy, lousier than beginner level. LOL~ xD Just spent some time having fun with my childhood friend. :]

Okkay~ Time to continue with the drama~ xD

Take a Break and Play with Wallpapers~ xD

Hahaha~ The picture above tells all~ I was doing a mini flash game for my Digital Multimedia assignment on Saturday. I spent whole day to develop that mini flash game and draw the scenery of spring for my flash assignment as well. Eyes pain at that Saturday night. @.@ And then~ The next day was Sunday~ Suppose to have a great family day, but then my mom and dad went out whole day, they went out for a date. LOL~ I became their house guard to look after the house and my grandfather. :)

Sunday~ I was drawing the diagrams in IBM Rational Software Architecture for almost whole day~ There was Use Case diagrams, Class diagram, Sequence diagrams, Collaboration diagrams, and etc. It's all for the Progress Report 2 for Object-Oriented Analysis and Design. >< While I was still busy with the diagrams, I rested a while and played with Adobe Photoshop, that was how the above picture came out. xD It's my wallpaper now. LOL~ Just a simple piece of work which done in less than 5 minutes.

Here's another piece of work. For my coursemate En Hoe. Hehehe~ I posted my "Hell Busy" wallpaper in Facebook, and he requested one for himself, so this is what I done for him. He wanted "I'm Single"~



After seeing my version of "I'm Single", here's another version of "I'm Single". LOL~ My another coursemate Zean took the previous "I'm Single" picture to edit, added the word "Available". :)

So, it then become "I'm Single and Available".



Weeeheee~ It's cool, right?

Weeeeeheee~ New Blog Banner~

Surprise~!
To the frequent visitors of my blog, it might be a surprise for ya. =) A warm welcome to you~ Hehe.

Previously, my blog banner was about a Japanese anime character from xxxHolic, her name is Yuuko. Here's a view of it:



Now, I have changed it to this, it is a lil artistic compare to the previous one. Haha~ Nahh.. Just kidding. I do not know much about arts. xD This is just a simple one. =)

New Blog Layout~~

Blog layout is UPDATED~!!! xD One of my net friend said that it's too bright~ Surprise~~! LOL~ Sometimes, something gotta have changes, right? Hehehe. =) Only the banner is wider now, and it's white in color compared to the previous one. Other than that, previous layout only have one sidebar, but now it has two sidebars~~ One on the left and another on right side. No more navigation or buttons to click in order to view the undisplayed contents~ Now it's all displayed~ xD

I threw quite a lot of codes from the previous layout, hope that with this layout, my blog will be able to load faster. >< Since the bandwidth in Malaysia is so 'canggih' (you know what I mean.... *shhh*), or maybe some visitors to my blog are using IE browser, that's why sometimes they have difficulty in loading my blog. Hehe... So sorry to y'all. *nod nod*

Getting the new layout done was kinda fast~ Hahaha xD Just spent about 2 or 3 hours for the banner and coding, 'cause it's just some simple image editing for the banner. The lady in the banner is Yuuko~ A very cool and interesting witch who can grant any wish in the anime "xxxHolic". It's not a new anime series anymore~ But I still like this character so much. =) Some people might think 2 to 3 hours to complete a layout are such a waste of time, but for me, I like to make sure everything goes well, that's why I spent some time to check on it. =) Comments are welcome~

Actually I'm very free this month~ Exam is over, not working for any part time job, seldom going out with friends~ I just stay at home almost everyday, going online, and.... I'm ADDICTED to Restaurant City~ OMG~!! xD I'm playing with it almost more than half day in everyday. Hahaha. About 1 week's time playing that game, I've got to level 14. Hehehe. =)

It's December, Last Month of the Year in 2008

It's 1st of December 2008~ Just feel like year 2008 is gonna end pretty soon. ><
Hmmmm... I really have no idea what was I busy with in the past 11 months. xD Haha.

Okkay, here's my second poster for RIA Technology Booth (click the image for a lil enlargement). Improved something, the size required should be 840 X 2079mm. Kinda weird for the size of a poster huh? Haha. xD So, in Photoshop, I put it as 2381 X 5893 px. It's the biggest size of image I ever did in Photoshop. =X Well, I'm not pro in doing design actually. Was just trying to give my best in doing that poster.

Lecturer-in-charged is satisfied with my design actually, just that ummm.... The poster is use to attract visitors to our booth that we are going to set up in ICT Showcase on 17th December 2008. Poster should not be too informative to the public this time (like what I did, it's too informative).

Majority of us chose another poster that designed by one of our teammate 'cause his design is more abstract, can attract people's attention, makes people feel curious to know what RIA is, etc. His idea of designing is really good. He's more professional in designing, seriously.

Hmmm... Heyy, I saw a smiley moon just now, with two shining stars above it. It was more like a smiling face. =) I wasn't be able to capture a photo of it, 'cause my camera phone is just 2.0MP and won't be clear even if I capture it by using my phone. *sob sob* Not so canggih as other nice and expensive phones. Look, it was something like this:



Hehehe.... More like a smiling face right? hope it brings luck and happiness to everyone. xD

Arghhh... Couldn't get into sleep yet, after watching 13th episode of "Miss No Good" (不良笑花), it's an interesting Taiwan drama. Hmmmm... I'm still listening to a few songs which I think it's worth to spend time listening to them over and over again.

This three songs are nice, comfortable to listen, and they are meaningful too. Try search for it and listen, you might love it. =)

Ummm... It's 2.30am now, gotta go to bed... Nights.

Journal for the Past One Week

Was a long time I didn't update my blog, I'm so sorry to all my blog visitors, and blog readers. *nod nod* I was busy for.... I don't know what I'm busy with.. Hahaha. xD Was doing the Behavioral Science (BS) assignment, Internet Programming (IP) report. And now, I'm doing the Managing Information System (MIS) assignment. Seems busy, but.... Not really busy actually. xD

Just as usual, I went to college, attended lectures and tutorial classes. Arghhh... I have been in a tight corner this few days. It rained right after my last class ended. Duhhh.... I gotta take the damn umbrella, waited for the bus to take me back to Genting Klang, then walked all the way to reach my house. I hate this kind of feeling seriously. It just made me feel freaking uncomfortable with my feet on the wet shoe, and my long jeans got wet too. Grrrrrr...

Felt bad seriously, i wore my jacket in classes on Thursday, was feeling so cold. *sob sob* And my jacket wasn't give me any warmth. T_T Friday i didn't go to college, skipped all my classes on Friday. xD I went back to my parents' house on Thursday evening.

Well, here's another piece of my work, using Photoshop again. It's a banner for a chinese forum, Coool Chinese Forum (酷中文论坛).

Talking bout designing stuff, I still haven't start designing another poster for the RIAs Technology mentioned in the previous entry/post. How should I design it? It has to be in a size of 840mm x 2079mm or 33.096 x 81.9126 inches. It's kinda weird in its size, 'cause it is a form of 4 (width) x 7 (height) pieces of A4 papers (portrait). Hahaha. xD

Other than doing the poster, I still gotta do the summary for RIAs Technology. >< Duhh.... Have to spend some time to get that done. And, tomorrow I gotta get some time to do revision for BS and Discrete Maths tests on Monday. T_T

Poster for Rich Internet Application

Just now I was busy doing a poster for the theme "Rich Internet Application (RIA)" [more about RIA here]. I'm a 'noob' in using Photoshop, hope you guys can gimme some ideas, comments, or opinions about the posters below. It really means a lot to me.

Wonder why i'm doing something for RIA? Well it's for an upcoming event in my college, the ICT Showcase 2008. It'll be held on wednesday, 17th December 2008 at the college hall, from 9.30am to 5.00pm.

What do you think bout this two posters? Which one is better? What's the first thing pops up in your mind when you first saw it? It's important for me to know your first impression of the posters here.

Somehow, I just feel not right for this two posters. Although I have spent bout 2 to 3 hours to do this, but I still couldn't get what I want. Urghhhh.... ><

Gotta work hard for everything now. *fingers crossed* I edited this cute lil picture few days ago, while I was in the lab for my programming class. xD Feel a lil sorry to my lecturer 'cause I wasn't paying attention in his class on that day. >< Hehe... Hope it won't happen again. xD

Woohoo~ New Blog Layout~

weeeeee... really have a sense of accomplishment. xD regular visitors know how my previous layout looks like, here's a screen shoot for the previous layout and the current new layout:

before i got the idea of doing this purple love layout, the banner i was doing was something like this - a grey banner:



i was trying to match this grey banner to a stylish but look kinda messy background. have an idea of what i've mentioned? haha... just feel like wanna change my blog to a new different look. but seems like this purple layout suits better. xD

while making this grey banner, i found a picture in my lappy and was trying to edit it. and i got this purple banner! the most surprising moment while doing this purple layout was the time i played with the brushes. i didn't notice that i clicked on one of the brush in photoshop, then, accidentally pasted it on the banner. that was how i got the big purple heart pasted on the banner. i found that it looks just a nice fit to the banner! xD

please comment on this new layout, kkay? so that i will be able to look for improvement in doing the next banner or layout. =) thanks in advance~
